After the Lunar New Year in 2026, I’d like to record the second time I’ve taken my puppy back to my hometown and what has been happening in my life. When I got off work on February 13, I didn’t go back to my hometown immediately. I wanted to clean my house, and I had an English class on Saturday, so I wanted to finish everything before going back to my hometown.
On Sunday, my mom and a friend drove to Taipei, and I took them to Ootoya for lunch and walked around the area afterward.

We went back to my house, and then I started packing my things and my puppy’s things, getting ready to go to my hometown. Before that, my puppy had gotten motion sickness last year, so my mom prepared some motion sickness medicine for her. Fortunately, my puppy didn’t get carsick this time. She’s really my best daughter.

We arrived in my hometown at about 7:00 p.m. I unpacked and got some water for my puppy, and then we had lamb hot pot together for dinner. Lamb hot pot is a traditional specialty from my hometown, so this time I took it back to Taipei to share with my friends.

My puppy was still timid this time because she was afraid of my mom’s puppies. When we had dinner, she would hide behind me every time. However, I thought she was so cute.

After dinner, I took my puppy to my room and prepared dinner for her. Then I found my CDs and started ripping all of them to FLAC format and listening to them using Roon.

During the process, I found many songs that I had not listened to for a long time. They brought back many memories, so I decided to keep them as well.

My puppy and I sleplt together every night. My puppy looked so cute sleeping on the bed. Before I knew it, having her sleep next to me made me feel calm and safe.

I was with my family every day until I came back to Taipei. Actually, I also did a lot of things during this holiday, but above all, these are my most precious memories.
